Unfortunately...

As many of you are already aware, but some still are not, I wanted to take a few minutes to let everyone know that I returned to the US a couple of weeks ago. As I was traveling to my layover in London on the way out, I picked up a parasite on the plane (or immediately after getting into London, still not sure which) and ultimately, it compromised my immune system too much. I became very sick and while I did make it to Chuka and got to spend some time with all of the amazing people there, I was unable to stay more than a week there. So in all, I was out of the country for just short of two weeks. I have been spending the past few weeks recovering and adjusting back to life as usual. I do apologize for taking so long to let everyone know what happened!

I'm working on a paper for school about what happened and recording some of the funnier details of my trip so I will post that up for everyone to read when I have finished.
